South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists is a private, members-only network for South Carolina dental alumni and current dental students to keep in touch, find mentors, and message alumni privately. Each account is reviewed by an admin before access is granted.

How privacy works
- Email, phone, and LinkedIn are hidden by default.
- You choose which fields are visible to other approved members.
- You choose whether to appear in the alumni directory and the Alumni Mentors page.
- Messages are delivered to an in-app inbox — your contact info is never exposed.
- Pending and rejected accounts cannot view any member data.
Who can join
Approved South Carolina dental alumni and current dental students. South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists is built primarily around MUSC dental alumni and students today, but is operated independently.

South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists, operating under the name SCAND, is an independent student and alumni network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with MUSC, the Medical University of South Carolina, or the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine.
