Copyright and Content Policy

South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists, operating under the name SCAND, is an independent student and alumni network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with MUSC, the Medical University of South Carolina, or the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine.
1. Permission to Post
You may only upload or share content you own or have permission to use.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload infringing, unlawful, defamatory, confidential, patient-identifying, or harmful content.
3. Content Removal
South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists may remove content that appears to violate law, the rights of others, South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists policies, or platform safety.
4. Copyright Complaints
Copyright complaints can be sent to legal@andsouthcarolina.org.
5. Complaint Process
A complaint should include:
- identification of the copyrighted work
- identification of the allegedly infringing material
- your contact information
- a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- a statement that the information in the complaint is accurate
6. Repeat Violators
South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists may suspend repeat violators.
7. Notice
South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists may remove content without prior notice where appropriate.
