The following uses of South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists are prohibited. Violations may result in suspension or removal.
South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists, operating under the name SCAND, is an independent student and alumni network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with MUSC, the Medical University of South Carolina, or the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine.
Prohibited Uses
- scraping, crawling, or extracting member data
- creating fake accounts
- bypassing access controls
- sharing login credentials
- using member data for marketing lists
- harassment
- discriminatory conduct
- phishing
- distributing malware
- spam
- unauthorized commercial solicitation
- copying member profiles to outside directories
- selling member data
- reverse engineering or security attacks
- violating applicable law or professional rules
- posting patient information or PHI
- using South Carolina Alumni Network for Dentists for clinical consultation, emergencies, diagnosis, treatment planning, or patient care decisions
- infringing copyrights or other intellectual property rights
